Abstrait

This project proposes that living in the Spirit of the Lord and the Lord's holy manner of working require personal change. Personal renewal and transformation are essential in the Franciscan tradition and happen through a process of creative fidelity that reappropriates the tradition, finds sustenance in it, and applies it actively and creatively to present realities. Significant events of change identified by Franciscans in a survey questionnaire find new meaning in the context of US culture, the religious culture of the Franciscan Order and the Province of Saint Bonaventure, and the story of Saint Francis's encounter with a leper.
