- The author researched ways the Black Baptist church can help women rape victims rebuild their spiritual formation while processing Christian forgiveness. She contended that sexual violence victims need people who theologian Miroslav Volf describes as 'social agents' to assist them by using resources from within and beyond exclusive denominational and cultural communal boundaries.
