Abstrait

The significance of baptism is not fully reflected in the lives of all believers in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya. The problem may largely stem from inadequate understanding of the significance and meaning of baptism and its celebration. This research has developed ways of improving the practice of baptism in the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya. It has investigated the biblical meaning, theological, and significance of baptism. The biblical meaning of baptism should be clearly explained before baptism is administered. In the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Kenya, pastors need help of trained church elders and lay persons in preparing candidates for baptism.
