Abstrait

The claim of this thesis is that we often have been preaching the healing narratives without considering the impact our preaching might have on people with disability. This thesis will consider a way of preaching, inclusive to all people, avoiding a metaphorical language, and not jumping to conclusions on sickness and handicap being the will of God. I will study my own preaching, as well as traditional preaching within the Church of Sweden and a few examples from American homiletics. The conclusion is that it is possible to find new perspectives, rendering the listeners, with or without a disability, a message of healing.
