- Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to impact the level of emotional intimacy within the marriages of selected men and women serving in pastoral ministry in the West Virginia North District Church of the Nazarene through a healing care group process. I developed this project as a retreat experience based upon the Healing care groups curriculum as developed by Terry Wardle. Six goals were developed to measure the degree to which this project was successful. The results of this project concluded that the level of emotional intimacy can be positively impacted through a small group experience such as HCG.
