  • Each preacher must develop his or her own preaching method. Included in this preaching method are the tasks and practices that make up the weekly flow of sermon preparation as well as the structure of sermons and the delivery of those sermons. In this thesis I lay out what happens when a preacher loses his or her way and how a preaching method and careful study can help a preacher to rediscover the importance and heart of the gospel. By designing and working with a method, preachers can be sure to clearly and concisely proclaim the gospel: the good news of what God is doing in the world through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
