Abstracto

The purpose of this phenomenological study is to reveal the experiences of how pastors mobilized the Chinese churches of the San Francisco Bay area for global mission in the 21st century. Consequently, a description of the Chinese pastoral leadership role in missions mobilization was constructed, through integrating the findings from interviewing the research participants with a comparative study of some biblical characters in both Old and New Testaments, the teaching of Christ on servant leadership, and the Chinese traditional paradigm of paternal headship. Through this study, some possible strategies for missions mobilization were identified and are being proposed.
