- The project studies the relationship of pastoral staff members with their senior pastors in Evangelical Friends Churches to ascertain the degree to which those senior pastors were utilizing the servant-leadership model of Jesus. Five key directives of Jesus's leadership were developed and measured: (1) Jesus experienced life with His disciples, (2) Jesus engaged the disciples in their own development, (3) Jesus empowered the disciples with a clear vision, (4) Jesus enlisted the help of the Father for the disciples in prayer, (5) Jesus endured the Cross on the disciples' behalf.
