Abstract
  • The project studies the relationship of pastoral staff members with their senior pastors in Evangelical Friends Churches to ascertain the degree to which those senior pastors were utilizing the servant-leadership model of Jesus. Five key directives of Jesus's leadership were developed and measured: (1) Jesus experienced life with His disciples, (2) Jesus engaged the disciples in their own development, (3) Jesus empowered the disciples with a clear vision, (4) Jesus enlisted the help of the Father for the disciples in prayer, (5) Jesus endured the Cross on the disciples' behalf. An online assessment tool was used to collect the data.
