- This thesis contends that the evangelical faith contains elements that support the remarriage of divorced persons. It presents the need and theological foundations for such a ministry. Questionnaires and interviews were used to gather data from clergy, remarrieds and about to be remarrieds. Study of literature and audio resources on remarriage were also pursued. Seminars can be designed to help prepare couples for remarriage. The study discusses design, implementation and evaluation of a 'planning on remarriage' seminar and addresses barriers for doing so in a conservative evangelical setting. Finally, it includes useful tools for carrying out the task of remarriage preparation.
