  • The project was to help the congregation of the Evangelical Free Church of Sycamore-DeKalb to embrace the kingdom concept as central to its life. First, for the church to understand the continuity of the Scriptures in the Old and New Testament through the kingdom theme. Second, for participants to develop a passion for the kingdom plan of God with an assurance of being involved in a movement that is guaranteed success. Third, to be prepared to defend the unity of the Bible by relating unity to the kingdom. Six sermons were preached with sermon notes. Small group material was included. The church grew in understanding, passion, and ability to defend the unity of the Bible through the kingdom theme.
