Abstrait

Two-thirds of all Christian believers presently reside in non-Western lands. Are these new believers moved by the Holy Spirit or other spirits? A massive spiritual awakening is presently underway in China. This thesis explores its development and maintains that it is genuinely of the Holy Spirit using criteria from Jonathan Edwards' treatises, Distinguishing marks and Religious affections. It argues that the awakening in China has Kingdom purposes leading to the evangelization of unreached peoples in Western China and Central Asia, possibly even completing the westward movement of the Gospel returning to evangelize Jews in Jerusalem.
