Abstract
  • The project looked at the effect of storytelling and creative expression as a way of encountering both scripture and worship in new ways. It looked at the introduction of art into the worship experience through the creativity of congregation members. It was woven from the threads of feminist theology and spirituality. The Ignatian examen provided the warp of the conversation. The women reported new understandings of scripture, worship and their understanding of God. The impact of all this work had a positive effect on the women who participated, the pastor, and the congregation.
