- Abstract
- This project assumes that if people identify themselves as being part of the church, and are encouraged to participate actively in the process of church ministry, they will then be more committed to actively participate in the actual implementation of its goals. The instruments utilized in this project have been chosen to help surface the value and spiritual gifts of the church membership. The five instruments used were: Responsibilities of the Church Survey, Core Values Audit I, Sermons on Christian service, focus group discussions, and the Wagner-Houts Spiritual Gifts Questionnaire. The level of volunteerism did increase by 52.3%.
