Abstract
  • This project offers a plan to develop a children's ministry to nurture children in their faith and give them a sense of belonging. The project describes a design for children's ministry built on the biblical concept of the image of God. One implication of this concept is that every person possesses God-given dignity. A second implication is that we are to treat each other with respect and love. The project assists the local church in three ways: 1) to inform parents of the biblical foundation of children's ministry; 2) to create a highly relational program; and 3) to bring the church and home together in mutual ministry.
