Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to evaluate the philosophy and religion program at Tamagawa Seigakuin, a Christian school in Tokyo, Japan. After building a theoretical and historical base, the philosophy and religion program was reviewed. Methdology included circulating questionnaires to faculty, students, and graduates. A set of criteria was used to evaluate the school, noting strengths and weaknesses. The model proposed has for its foundation a biblically sound philosophy from which goals, curriculum, and program can beconstructed with the purpose of motivating students to grow in their understanding and acceptance of the Christian faith.
