  • An assumption of the project is that ministry is authentic and effective when ministers collaborate with one another as well as with God. The project is divided into three parts. Part one presents a systems approach for analyzing and intervening in parish and agency settings. Part two draws on actual experience in over ninety settings. It suggests ways for professional and volunteer, full-time and part-time, ordained and lay ministerial leaders to collaborate. Part three consists of practical tools for group development, for overcoming obstacles to effective group functioning, for operating smoother, more effective meetings and for evaluating staff and committee meetings.
