- This project aimed to strengthen the marriage relationships among US Army chaplains and their spouses in the Second Infantry Division, Korea, and to increase participants' self-perception as partners in ministry as well as marriage, by engaging in attachment-enhancing activities, theological reflection, and the encouragement of other clergy and spouses. The project combined current research on marriage and family resiliency, theological reflection on the meaning of marriage and the call to ministry, and an experiential learning model. Participants experienced growth in their understanding of the dynamics of marriage and family life, in the context of ministry in Korea.
