Church leaders need appropriate tools to make quality decisions. Decision making as systematic process can be learned. Intentionally sharing this comprehensive process, including theology and ethics, improves relationships and produces effective choices. The author presented the decision making process found in Acts 15, Presbyterian polity, management principles, and systems theory to two church sessions. Participants shared mind style preferences, analyzed decisions theologically and rationally, and explored systems issues. The separation of process from content helped clarify leadership dynamics.
