- The project grew from the question, 'What happens to a local Christian church suffering a silence of the Word?' this silence existed in a sanctuary with acoustics so poor the spoken word was difficult to understand. Personal stories from the church's members revealed a confusion of Christian identity, an absence of cohesion, and lack of esprit de corps, not unlike many mainline Protestant congregations.
