Abstract
  • Epiphanies of Ordinariness: An Episodic Memoir exhibits public theology through spiritual memoir. The memoir takes a first-person, limited- omniscient point of view of the author in the style of Jacqueline Woodson’s award-winning auto-biographical brown girl dreaming. The author takes readers into a dank federal penitentiary and expose them to the horrors of death row to show them the steadfast presence and power of God’s grace. In addition, providential connections of grace throughout a Christian’s life are highlighted. It is implied that all human lives are theological in nature, and not unique to a few individuals in diverse times and places.
