  • The purpose of this project was to lead the Baptist Student Union leadership team at Mississippi Delta community College in cross-cultural ministry on our campus and in the community. The project took place over a period of 3 months between September and November of 2009. The director of the baptist Student Union trained one hundred thirty-two volunteers to conduct a children's basketball league for first through sixth grades children at Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Parchman, Mississippi. This project will be a ministry model for others who want to start evangelistic sports ministries using college students in small churches and in small towns.
