This project director sought to train a group of adults, one from each of the adult Sunday school classes of his church, to commit to pray systematically for their Sunday school class members, by teaching them principles and the practice of intercessory prayer. He sought to accomplish this through eight one-hour, weekly training sessions, and a one-day prayer retreat. The participants indicated that they grew in their understanding and practice of intercessory prayer. The project director discovered many valuable lessons about preparing for adult education and providing more applicable experiences of group sharing and prayer.
