  • This project proposes a lay involvement model for ministry to assist laypersons in discovering, developing, and using spiritual gifts in ministry in all of life. The project employed four key groups including a Rediscovering Your Spiritual Gifts class, Search Groups in preparation for a 'Weekend of Discovery,' a 'Weekend of Discovery' renewal program, and a Disciple Bible Study. The project conducted interviews with 34 church members using 21 questions. Several new ministries have begun, lay involvement increased dramatically, and laypersons are becoming more responsible Christians.
