  • My thesis for this study is that a weekly Sabbath rest will improve the spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health of the members of Gateway Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I asked the participants to take a sixty day challenge by keeping a regular Sabbath rest each week. The Sabbath rest can help prevent burnout and lead to a stronger faith in God. I used the case study methodology by conducting research through an open-ended questionnaire and a survey. The research discloses that having a weekly Sabbath rest improved the physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental health of the participants.
