  • Based on the hypothesis that congregations can support one another in ministry development through mutual sharing of models, experiences and learnings, a workshop for representatives of congregations was designed to generate commitment for evangelism development. A second workshop, designed for the sharing of intentions, results, and learnings, revealed that more structured evangleism evolved from the participating congregations. The project generated a vision which proposes a solution to the issue of spiritual isolation among congregations through a structure of having a parish pastor serve part-time as an auxillary bishop in dioceses of fifteen to twenty congregations constitutionally mandated to facilitate ministry development.
