Abstract
  • The thesis is that it is possible and desirable to measure beginning skills for Nazarene ministerial students at Caribbean Nazarene Theological College. The case form and methods used in the Readiness for Ministry Test of ATS were studied for guidance. The project included writing an opinion survey and submitting it to randomly selected Nazarene ministers and laymen from Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Guyana, and Jamaica; writing the readiness test based on these results; devising a scoring system; preparing an interpretative manual for reporting individual scores; and administering the test to some experienced ministers, which resulted in some revisions and justification of the thesis.
