Abstrait

The aim of this study was to reintroduce through preaching, the ancient spiritual practice of fasting to our churches. The author chose the season of Lent to preach a series of sermons in his congregation on the subject of fasting. The results of the study of the author's congregation reveal what was expected, and that is that there is still much resistance in today's world to fasing and if this ancient practice is to be reclaimed that much more remains to be done.
