  • This study evaluates the pluralistic multi-denominational impact on Christian chaplains within the United States Air Force Chaplaincy (Glossary of Military Terms Appendix E). In researching the multi-denominational impact, which determines the influence that each denomination represented in the military has on leadership, position placement and stability within the Chaplaincy, it was discovered that the impact of Christian chaplains had various pros and cons that were not considered in the onset of this project. The initial research methodology, proactive, consisted of questionnaires and telephonic interviews. Further research revealed the need to have verbatim input from troops and feedback from lay personnel in the deployed field. This proved invaluable in assessing multi-denominational impact among military Christians. The research process reflected the need to have global training programs/seminars that foster unity in a pluralistic environment within the United States Air Force Chaplaincy.
