Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to teach members about Southern Baptist missions. The project director also reviewed Baptist history, some selected doctrines, characteristics of Baptists, and the inerrancy controversy in the Southern Baptist Convention. Each of these areas was examined in light of its impact on mission work. The thesis of the project was that a designed program of missions education would lead members to an increased awareness of and appreciation for denominational missions. The director concluded that the program did lead to growth in knowledge and change of opinions of members of the church.
