Abstract
  • The theological principle informing this thesis is that hope is the basis for forming partnership ministries by mature adults. Christian hope enables mature adults to develop truthful strategies for living faithfully within economic, social, and religious change. It is through mature adult wisdom that older generations are free to release the past and risk partnering with others in appropriating hopeful forms of care and ministry. This thesis is based upon the initial action/reflection programs created to facilitate a hopeful partnership climate between mature adults and others who affirm the power of God's reconciliation in Christ.
