The author observed stale worship practices in his church. In an effort to enrich worship and eliminate diverse rites, a group of church leaders were taken to different churches to experience how other denominations worship. The author discovered that what he considered stale, senior church members considered comfortable and meaningful. New rituals were added, but none were eliminated.
