  • This project is a discussion of our over-dependence on the Great Commission as the primary motivation to mission during the last century. Peter never quoted the Great Commission yet his writings throb with a mission passion for changing his world. The author sent a letter to several church leaders asking them to share what motivates them to evangelism and mission and what Scriptures they use to motivate others. After considering those responses, the author completed a complete word study of Peter's letters and noted how mission is found in the vocabulary he uses to remind his friends to be change agents in this world.
