Abstracto

This project/dissertation is a thorough demographic study of Rochester, Minnesota, and eight congregations from several denominational backgrounds. This was a cooperative effort in attempt to locate any particular people groups not currently reached by the participating congregations. Through official census material accessed by computer and survey questionnaires of church households vital demographic variables or 'factors that divide' were examined in both the community and the congregations. Each congregation was able to examine their own uniqueness in comparison to the other congregations and in comparison to the community profile. The project enabled the congregations individually and corporately to determine strategies to reach those not now served.
