Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to enhance the expository preaching of the pastor at Berean Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Because this project followed the skill enhancement model, the project director engaged in both research and ministry. The project director established a standard of research which was reviewed by an expert in the field of expository preaching. The research of expository preaching was followed by the preparation of a series of sermons based on the model of expository preaching. The project director then delivered these sermons to the congregation of Berean Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The sermons were evaluated by Dr. Randy Adams and Dr. Preston Nix, two experts in the field of expository preaching, along with six members of the Berean Baptist Church congregation.
