  • The purpose of this project was to research the field of English Bible translations and develop a workshop to equip a selected group of members at Plain Dealing Baptist Church, Plain Dealing, Louisiana to increase their Bible study skills utilizing multiple English Bible versions. Following a research model, the project director surveyed the history of the Bible and its English versions. Then he established a set of suggested hermeneutical principles for the use of multiple English Bible versions based on the findings of his research.
