  • This research explores the Anabaptist Mennonite perspective of peacemaking on individuation and differentiation in a sample of twenty-five married Mennonite women, ages 30-35. The methodology incorporated a two-item questionnaire, modified case studies, and follow-up interviews with four of the twenty-five participants. The five categories from Women's Ways of Knowing by Belenky, et al, asessed each woman's level of individuation and differentiation. The results supported the hypothesis that the teachings and practices of peacemaking created personal and relational struggles for twenty-three of the twenty-five women.
