The author contends in his thesis that the local Church in the Congo, which is already committed to reconciliation and peacemaking, has to become like an extended family, a lineage, a clan or a tribe. Then the Congolese Church will be able to integrate the reconciliation strategies emerging from the culture of the people into the theological reflection and pastoral praxis for peacemaking and reconciliation.
