Abstrait

A survey using a tool of 36 questions sought the cognitive and practical application to four bioethical issues that may confront a pastor in a couseling ministry with his congregation. The issues are 'when does life begin?', 'reproductive technology', 'facing end of life issues', and 'same sex relationships and the church.' The result of 102 pastors surveyed were tabulated using a Likert and percentage scale format. Graphs were used to demonstrate the pastors' responses in contrast with evangelical bioethical literature. Two areas in which those surveyed desired further education and application were 'end of life issues' and 'reproductive technology.'
