Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to enhance my vision-casting skills in order to increase congregational awareness of missional focus at First Baptist Church, Locust Grove, Georgia. Following the Ministry Skill Enhancement Model, I researched the field of visionary leadership and missional movements to identify components of effective vision-casting and missional living. The implementation of the project was accomplished through the delivery of a series of compelling and actionable teachings that expounded upon the biblical components of effective missional living. At selected points within the implementation of the project, I enlisted expert evaluators and select members of First Baptist Church, Locust Grove, Georgia, to respond with questionnaires, assessments, or reviews —in accordance with their roles. I utilized the feedback from evaluations to assess the effectiveness of my research, vision-casting skills, and articulation of a missional church.
