Abstract
  • The thesis of this project is that God wants His church to make disciples, and the local church can become effective in carrying out this goal. The author applied the principles of T-NET to the First Evangelical Free Church of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The result was the implementation of an assimilation strategy, the development of Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs), the increase of small groups designed for specific levels of maturity, and the commitment to leadership training. The author also evaluated T-NET with particular emphasis given to the role of expository preaching in making disciples.
