Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip a selected group of Alabama Baptist foster parents at Shocco Springs Conference Center in Talladega, Alabama, to teach a biblical worldview to foster children. To equip foster parents to teach a biblical worldview to children in their care, the project director facilitated a three-part workshop on Friday, June 24, 2011 as part of the Alabama Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries' annual training conference for foster parents. To gain an understanding of how to equip foster parents to teach a biblical worldview, the project director researched pertinent resources and enlisted professionals in the areas of theology, curriculum development, and childcare to evaluate materials used in the workshop development.
