  • The project contends that sermon form as well as sermon content communicates. Citing evidence which suggests there is significant confusion about the doctrine of holiness, the author explores the impact of the dominant use of an argument form to shape holiness sermons. Citing history, scripture and theology, the author proposes that greater use of narrative and image forms will strengthen holiness preaching, and better respect the dynamic theology of the Holiness movement.
