  • This thesis records a formation experience for both beginning and experienced Catholic high school teachers. Over eight monthly sessions, ten teachers--five beginning and five experienced--reflected on the meaning of the vocation to teach in a Catholic high school. In the experience teachers formed one another collaboratively through their questions, stories, examples and passion for the Catholic education project. The thesis demonstrates that formation grounded in the life experience of teachers is both practical and enriching, addressing the particular formation needs of both beginning and experienced Catholic high school teachers.
