- This project taught first class cadets and cadet candidates at the United States Air Force Academy how to participate in a facilitated mentoring relationship. Through their participation in such a program it was hypothesized that the participants would increase their appreciation of the benefits of mentoring. The results of the project suggest that both mentors and protégés who participate in a facilitated mentoring program do increase their appreciation of the benefits of mentoring.
