Abstrait

This project investigates the educational value of video resources in worship, and demonstrates the effectiveness of using video resources to increase congregational awareness and support of a congregation's wider mission life. Out of research directed to current use of television and video technology in worship and the church's historic relationship to technological change, the project analyzes the consequences of an emerging 'audio-visual language' and resistance to use of video technology in worship. The project provides a model for congregational planning and practical suggestions for incorporating video resources in worship.
