Abstrakt

The thesis of the author's abstract, A study on infant baptism, can be summed up in one sentence taken from the introduction: 'How can parents and congregation be shaped to fulfill the vows they made when an infant is baptized?' A combination of questionaires, research on theological significance of infant baptism, and a study workshop, followed up with an evaluation proved an adequate method to achieve this goal. The conclusion of this work confirmed to the author that there is a vital need for a good teaching tool regarding the importance of baptism in the church.
