Abstrakt

Because of a lack of resources and training available in Spanish for marriage enrichment, the author proposed this project to develop and implement a basic Spanish model for equipping Hispanic pastors and wives to lead a marriage enrichment experience in their local churches. Leader and couple manuals were developed. Besides study and research, the director drew upon his own personal experience and knowledge of Hispanic culture. The training was carried out through pre-retreat examinations and questionnaires, a three-day training and enrichment retreat, and follow-up evaluations. Thirteen couples, including the director and his wife, were involved in the process.
