  • This project demonstrates the steps necessary to develop a church-based educational institution that will meet the changing needs of the twenty-first century and beyond. Research led the writer to establish that there is limited to no recorded information as to how a religiously-based organization would go about setting up a religiously-based teacher's college and theological seminary. Through this work, the writer attempts to lay the ground work for meeting the need for African-American teachers to fill public education vacancies and to equip theological students with the skills for activism that led our fore-parents to seek liberation from oppression.
