Abstrakt

The current dualistic way of viewing reality impacts how one enacts one's pastoral role. This project states that new forms of thought are needed to move away from this dualism. It proposes a form which, in general, may be called 'art' and, in particular, may be considered 'story'. Part of the thesis is written in an expository linear form and part in a circular story form. This story form is transferred into a model for doing 'circular' parish ministry wherein the minister envisions himself or herself as the spiritual guide.
